Today Ubisoft announced the development of NARUTO: The Broken Bond, the sequel game to NARUTO: Rise of a Ninja. NARUTO: The Broken Bond is licensed from VIZ Media LLC (North America), TV Tokyo/Shueisha (Europe) and Mighty Delta (Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan). The game, based on the world-renowned NARUTO animated series, is exclusive to the Xbox 360. The game will be available in North America, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan for holiday 2008.

The title offers dramatic battle scenes, where up to 10 enemies can gang up at one time and attack in a variety of offensive patterns. The game features shocking boss characters, collectible items that can unlock hidden environments and challenging AI enemies that all add up to a very unique style of gameplay.

SouthPeak Games announces a demo of Arkedo Studio's Big Bang Mini for Nintendo DS is now available as a free download via Nintendo Channel on Wii. This unique shoot ‘em up has players blast enemies by launching fireworks displays.

Midway today announced that five games from the hit TouchMaster series will soon be available to download from the iTunes App Store for play on the iPhone and iPod touch. TouchMaster favorites Prismatix, Dice King, Combo 11, Carpet and Spellwinder are expected to be available by the end of this month for $0.99 US each, or in a TouchMaster Volume 1 bundle of all five for $3.99 US. The titles will be fully localized in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish, and will also be available in Europe for ç0,79 and ?0.59 each, or for ç2,99 and ?2.39 for the bundle.

Six years after the U.S. Army revolutionized military action games with the launch of the free PC game America's Army, the U.S. Army today announced the upcoming release of America's Army 3 (AA3). America's Army 3 is the only free action game that delivers an authentic and entertaining Army experience by reflecting the training, technology, actions and career advancement of a Soldier within a unique exciting game experience. AA3, which will be rated T for Teen by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), will be released in 2009. As with previous versions of America's Army, AA3 will be constantly updated to include new features and missions and to highlight new technologies being incorporated in today's Army.
